We would not recommend using extensions that are not designed specifically for your model of tent. The fit may not be optimal and will therefore not perform as intended in extreme weather conditions.

Coleman tests all tents in a wind tunnel for 20 minutes at 65 kmph wind speed.

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and will not cover storm damage resulting from other factors such as extreme weather, incorrect pitching or uneven ground condition.

This is a very common question and in nearly all cases it does not mean your tent has a leak.

Condensation is formed during the night when you are asleep from the warm air you breath out coming into contact with cold air and turning to water. This collects on beams and then rolls downwards collecting at the base.

The best remedy to this is to make sure there is as much ventilation in the tent as possible. Open vents at the back, front and side of the tent to let air circulate.

While many tent manufactures have followed suit, with bedrooms made with a dark inner fabric, Coleman’s BlackOut Bedrooms are created using a specially designed coating on the flysheet which ensures that 99% of daylight is blocked from entering the sleeping area of the tent.

By blocking out the external light, Coleman’s BlackOut Bedrooms also keep the sun’s heat at bay on a hot summer’s day. This technology helps to regulate your temperature while you sleep by keeping the temperature inside 5°C cooler during the day and 1°C warmer at night.

Coleman vigorously tests all tents before launching on the market. An increase in temperature should not cause the air beam to burst.

We advise that during pitching you use the manometer provided on the pump to inflate your tent to between 6,5 to 7 psi. Do not over inflate the beams. It is also a good idea to let a small amount of pressure out during the day should you expect extremely hot conditions.

Yes, we do offer Footprints for our Family tent range which can be placed underneath the tent to prevent it from getting dirty or damaged by sharp objects.

The best way to prevent mould appearing on your tent is to ensure it is fully dried before packing away. The easiest way to inflate your air pole tent is by starting at the back of the tent and working your way forward. Make sure that the nozzle of you high pressure valve is pushed out, screw on the pump's hose and inflate the pole to the recommended pressure which can be found in the IFU of your tent.

Instructions on how to seal the leakage in your pole can be found in the user manual of the tent.

Make sure the tent is completely dry before packing it away to prevent mould and damage to the BlackOut Bedroom treatment.

When the tent is dry, clean off any mud particularly on the underside of the groundsheet with a stiff brush.

Fold and then roll the tent to the correct size to fit back into the carry bag supplied.

For air tents you can walk along each airbeam to squeeze out the air (where your socks for this and not shoes!).

The total size required for pitching your tent on the Campsite can be seen on the Floorplan of your tent Hangtag or on the Coleman website. We calculate this area by adding 0.5m to each side of the tent to allow for the length of the guy lines.
