Liquid fuel appliances

Ensure the pump is unlocked and try to re-pump the appliance.

Check the seal on the filler cap to see if there is any air loss.

Check the seal on the pump (add 3 drops of lightweight lubricating oil (3 in 1 type) to ensure good compression.

If the problem persists please contact the Coleman Customer Service Centre.

Long yellow flames may be caused by:

Old fuel. If your fuel is over a year old it should be replaced with fresh fuel.

or

The appliance has not been pressurised sufficiently. Pressurise your device with 40 pumps.

or

The appliance requires re-pressurising. After an hour each appliance will require re-pressurising. Re-pressurise your device with 40 pumps.

If the problem persists please contact the Coleman Customer Service Centre.

This is normal. The appliance will continue to burn off fuel from the generator.

If the appliance continues to burn for over 5 minutes please contact Coleman Customer Service Centre.

Check the filler cap is secured or the appliance has not been pressurised sufficiently. Pressurise with 40 pumps or Check the pump housing. If fuel is visible in the pump housing the check valve is faulty.

Close and open the control valve and see if this resolves the problem

or

There may be debris in the generator. Clean and replace the generator

or

Check if you are using the correct fuel for the appliance.

Only use Coleman Dual Fuel or Unleaded Petrol
